In the week of February 13 a team of teachers from the Miyagi University of Education will be hosted at the University of Hawai‘i College of Education. As a part of their visit they will experience p4cHI in Uehiro Academy model schools and participate in a reception with Uehiro Faculty at the University of Hawaii. The Uehiro Academy for Philosophy and Ethics in Education has been officially names as an organizational partner of the C3 Teachers movement. To see the complete list of partners, click here. Dr. Amber Strong Makaiau traveled to Washington DC at the end of 2016 to represent the Uehiro Academy at this meeting.
We are very happy to announce that the Routledge International Handbook of Philosophy for Children has now been published and that philosophy for children Hawai’i is featured in two chapters!
