Aftercareful consideration, the winner, sixth grade student, Kawabata Marin, from the Anjo Elementary School has deeply moved readers with her writing. As a part of their visit they will experience p4cHI in Uehiro Academy model schools and participate in a reception with Uehiro Faculty at the University of Hawaii. Also click here to learn more about the C3 Teachers Organizational Partners Meeting, in which representatives from several social studies organizations convened to discuss how to facilitate teacher inquiry using their materials. Dr. Amber Strong Makaiau traveled to Washington DC at the end of 2016 to represent the Uehiro Academy at this meeting.
