Hanahauʻoli School panel on Progressive Philosophy in Present Times Featuring p4c
On July 9th, 2021, Hanahauʻoli school held a panel of thought leaders featuring Uehiro Academy’s Dr. Makaiau and Dr. Miller serving as facilitators. The other panelists were “Theresa Squires Collins of the Progressive Education Network and Saint Paul Academy & Summit School, Dr. Masato Ishida of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Department of Philosophy, Chris McNutt of the Human Restoration Project, and Dr. Manulani Aluli Meyer of the University of Hawaiʻi – West Oʻahu.” The panel was viewed by educators, philosophers, and community members from around the world, along with participants of UHM Progressive Philosophy and Pedagogy program and the P4C Hawaiʻi Summer Symposium.
